After all, we’re not the only online poetry journal out there, and the journals presented are just some of the one’s we’re most fond of. The featured online poetry journal of the day is 2River.

2River considers unpublished poems only. An unpublished poem is one that has not appeared in any form of print or digital media, including personal or public blogs. A poem from a private, online workshop, however, would be considered, as long as the final version of the poem does not appear in a public space.

Whether free verse or form, take the poem to its limits. “Boiling River” is a translation of an Algonquin word for the Kalamazoo River, describing its constant churning movement. Let your poems follow suit and come bubbling up to the surface from a deep place.
